Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Supervisor, the Front Gate/Guest Relations team ensures a positive guest experience by enforcing park policies, verifying admission, and assisting with guest inquiries. Responsibilities include checking bags, monitoring attendance, providing information, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
Essential Functions
- Check bags for prohibited items and enforce park policies.
- Verify guest admission tickets and season passes for entry.
- Track and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Greet guests upon entry and exit, providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist guests with inquiries about park amenities, layout, and services.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Process retail transactions, handle payments, and assist with merchandise sales.
- Restock and organize retail items in designated areas.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Applicants must be 16+ years of age
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Exposure to direct sunlight, hot temperatures, and rain.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs. and walking and standing for extended periods.
