DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: - Knowledge and confidence in teaching all subject areas to elementary students. - Experience with elementary-age students. - ZA (Early Childhood) endorsement from Michigan. - Understanding and knowledge of Google Classroom and other online instructional tools. - Knowledge of ELA and math curriculum, including the understanding of the depth of student knowledge and mastery of skills needed for students to meet the Michigan State Standards. - Knowledge of administering and interpreting assessments (state and local assessments, NWEA, Acadience, etc.) - Competency in utilizing tchnoloby to enhance instruction and student learning. - Knowledge of standards-based grading and reporting, and writing assessments and scales to the standards. - Knowledge and experience in highly engaging instructional strategies, including differentiation, hands-on and cooperative learning, manipulatives, cognitively guided instruction, etc. - Experience in identifying students for MTSS and designing instruction for remediation, reinforcement, and enrichment. - Ability to work collaboratively with others and be a positive team member throughout the building and district.
