2nd Shift Core Prep

Job Description

Responsible for dressing of ceramic cores, visual inspection of ceramic cores, and other various tasks related to preparation for wax pattern injection.

Responsibilities:

• Visually inspects ceramic cores to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Dress cores using wax, hot plates and craft knives.
• Trim flash, fix air bubbles, apply coating(s), apply sealant, assemble parts, keep work area clean.
• Accurately report daily production quantities and labor hours

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Job is performed at a work area where you have the option to sit or stand. Work requires attention to detail, steady hands, good visual acuity.
• Constant use of both upper extremities to inspect, dress, repair, label and seal core or wax patterns. Frequent use of hand tools; reach / handle activities at waist, knee, and shoulder.
• Push/lift 10-35 lbs
