Work Schedule: 25-29 hours a week
This is a seasonal, part-time position and can work for no more than 3-6 months
Role Summary:
The City of Ann Arbor Housing Commission, a municipal corporation charged with providing decent, affordable housing for low-income persons, is looking for intern in our accounting/finance department. These internship enable participants to gain an inside look at the various areas of operations of a Public Housing Agency.
Learn about affordable housing by interning for the Ann Arbor Housing Commission in one of the following areas: property management, facility management, waitlist and tenant qualifications, finance, family self-sufficiency, voucher programs, and housing development. Responsibilities will depend on the area of interest and/or area assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- The incumbent must be at least 17 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A desire to learn new skills and work with low-income and special needs households.
