About the Department
This role will focus is on managing curriculum changes, analyzing data to improve student outcomes, fostering collaboration between academic and student affairs, and optimizing data strategies.
Position Duties
- Manage curriculum changes and submit program adjustments for state approval.
- Assist in planning the curriculum schedule using the pathways completion paths.
- Manage updates to pathways, course sequences, and completion paths.
- Identify opportunities to increase student engagement and efficiency using data insights.
- Uses graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data. Analyzes and interprets data using statistical modeling software.
- Interpret trends in enrollment, retention, and competition data; provide actionable recommendations.
- Evaluate program and unit key performance indicators (KPI’s) aligned with institutional goals.
- Liaison between program areas and student affairs.
- Uses data to identify trends in enrollment, retention, student behavior, completion, etc.; makes recommendations for action.
- Analyze and enhance data collecting strategies within academic programs.
- Collaborates with Planning and Research on data collection and sharing; may serve as liaison between assigned areas.
- Runs reports to identify potential program completers; conducts outreach to students, as appropriate.
- Runs reports to identify program “stop outs;” conducts outreach to students, as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in data analysis or statistics; experience in post-secondary education
