Summary

Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring proper recording of operational costs, revenue, and balance sheet activity. This role requires strong attention to detail, cross-functional communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Accurate and timely month-end close with minimal adjustments
• Clean and well-supported reconciliations
• Strong coordination with operations and Shared Services to resolve issues quickly
• Timely resolution of vendor, PO, and inventory discrepancies

Primary Responsibilities

Operational Accounting & Data Maintenance

• Manage vendor issue log by coordinating with Shared Services and local personnel to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• Maintain incoming raw material logs, including ticket review, invoice troubleshooting, and daily inventory tracking
• Review purchase order tracking reports for duplicate entries, coding errors, and unusual or high-value spend
• Support inventory accounting by ensuring proper recording of monthly activity and journal entries
• Work with Sales and Operations to maintain accurate project setup, updates, and cost structures
• Support customer and vendor master data setup and maintenance in coordination with Corporate teams

Month-End Close & Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly journal entries and adjusting entries, including payroll, revenue, prepaid expenses, accruals, and capital expenditures
• Perform general ledger analysis in support of month-end close deadlines
• Prepare and post inventory, revenue, and expense-related entries as required
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations with proper supporting documentation
• Assist in preparation of financial reporting packages, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, PP&E, and capital expenditure reports

Ideal Candidate

• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Experience working with ERP systems and operational data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)

• Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000/ yearly
