Accountant Accounts Payable

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Timely processing of employee expense items (e.g. travel expenses)
  • Bank / account reconciliation
  • Wiring of funds to suppliers
  • Confirmation of balances with other ZA subsidiaries
  • Verification of monthly expense reports
  • Year-end closing support
  • Year-end audit support
  • Canadian tax reporting
  • Assistance with all quarterly tax reporting
  •  Assist in credit to customers
  • Coordination of financial quality issues between ZA US & ZASE DE
  •  Preparation of freight costs report for ZASE DE
  • Assist in separation of duties of treasury functions
  • Assistance with the year-end physical inventory
  • Assistance with special projects 
  •  Other duties as assigned 


Job Requirements:

  • Accounting knowledge (work experience) and/or bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Experience in the supplier payment process preferred
  • Understanding of account reconciliation process
