SUMMARY
The Accountant I will prepare journal entries to ensure that expenses are matched with the appropriate periords. The position will assist Senior level Accountants as needed. Performs account reconciliations as assigned. Ensures adherence to internal controls and compliance with the Health System, GAP and other regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates Degree is required.
- 2 years of accounting experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior Experience in Healthcare Accounting is preferred.
- Experience with PeopleSoft is preferred.
