Work in all areas of accounting department to ensure all functions are correctly administered according to bank policy. Assists in creating accurate and timely financial records for the bank.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reconciles various general ledger and DDA accounts as scheduled on a daily or monthly basis.
Assists manager in preparation and distribution of required reports.
Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients and other employees in the organization
Education and/or Experience
BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
1 – 2 years of work experience required, preferably in accounting.
