POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounting Analyst I is primarily responsible for executing routine accounting duties and providing essential support to the finance team across a range of financial operations, with a particular emphasis on Accounts Receivable activities. This entry-level role operates under direct supervision and is designed to facilitate the development of foundational financial analysis competencies while ensuring adherence to established accounting standards and procedures.This position will be located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI with in-office expectations four days/week (Monday - Thursday) with Fridays as an optional in-office or work from home day, depending on business need.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine accounting tasks such as data entry, account reconciliations, month-end close journals and accruals, and financial reporting.
- Manage the order-to-cash cycle, including invoicing, payment processing, invoicing corrections, reconciliation, and working with the collections team to optimize cash flow.
- Drive digital transformation within the AR function by implementing and adopting AI technology to optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and respond to audit inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of entry level experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
