The Accounting Assistant provides financial support for the company’s accounting department as needed. This is an ENTRY Level position.

ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Client invoicing and supporting documentation.
  • Monitors work in process to make sure billing goals are met. 
  • Documents and reports aging accounts receivable. 
  • May assist with processing of related expenses, accounts payable and calculation of overhead rates. 
  • Job costing as well as routine accounting functions.
  • Other accounting tasks and support as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must have good numerical, organizational, and communication skills, as well an enthusiastic attitude, and a willingness to learn.

  • Good Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Organization, time management and prioritization skills
  • Effective computer skills to use software in a timely and efficient manner

Must also demonstrate the ability to work within a team environment and follow detailed instruction. 

 Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word is required.
