Accounting Clerk

Full Time

Location: 127 Town Center Blvd., Clermont FL 34714 (Onsite Position)

Pay Rate: $21.00/Hour

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for the accountability of assigned night audit packages and spreadsheets.
  • Process daily journal entries from the night audit spreadsheets and direct bill invoices on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Print out daily deposit and revenue reports.
  • Cash handling, pickup, and auditing.
  • Maintain marketing tours rental billing invoices for accuracy.
  • Maintain online booking websites rental invoices for billing/commission.
  • Maintain the general ledger sub-ledgers for direct bills known as the City Ledger for rental activity.
  • Reconcile internal TSW system and general ledger (guest ledger, city ledger, advance deposit ledger).
  • Research credit card chargebacks and respond to merchants within the dispute deadline.
  • Prepare all direct bill invoices and post all cash receipts.
  • Prepare HOA revenue distributions and post-City Ledger payments.
  • Prepare invoices to vendors and post vendor payments.
  • Reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required.
  • All other duties as assigned by manager.
