Accounting Clerk

Berry Companies, Inc. in Wichita, KS is an administrative support group that provides IT, accounting, data processing, payroll, insurance, marketing and financial services to each of its operating divisions. Our nine divisions are engaged in the distribution of Bobcat�, Komatsu�, Hyster� & Yale� construction or material handling equipment.

Hours: Monday-Friday Dayshift
Pay starting at $23/hour Depending on Experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive various forms of payments (i.e., drafts, checks, floor plans, etc.), prepare them for deposit, and post them to the system.
• Complete payments by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling vendor invoices.
• Code floor plan transactions, complying with floor plan company requirements and documentation.
• Use accounting data to resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Capable of high productivity in a deadline-driven accounting environment.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in accounting.
• Ability to work well with co-workers and other departments to resolve issues.
• Good communication and organizational skills required with strong attention to details.
• Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
• Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks; manual dexterity.
