PacAero’s core businesses include an array of electronic connectors and housings for the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero is primarily located in Wenatchee, WA with a remote manufacturing site, Bonded Metals, located in Sequim, WA. Working together, we employ proprietary technologies, best practices engineering, and specialized manufacturing techniques to produce hermetic connectors and electronic packaging that perform in the world’s most extreme environments. PacAero’s products are hard at work in medical components, such as cardiac-function devices, on key aerospace & defense programs, in space and deep below the earth's surface.


The Position:


Job Summary

The entry-level Accounting Clerk provides essential administrative support to the finance department by processing routine financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and reconciling key accounts. Primary duties include data entry for payroll processing, entering transactional data into the ERP to support accounts payable/receivable process, preparing invoices, and supporting month-end closing, typically requiring high accuracy and basic math skills


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, overtime as needed


Primary Responsibilities

  • Work cooperatively with all employees.

  • Observe safety regulations and follow protective equipment requirements. Report hazardous observations to the manager.

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities

  • Timekeeping & Data Entry Payroll: Collecting, verifying, employee time records, hours worked, making misc. adjustments to employees' checks
  • Data Entry & Transactions: Post details of business transactions (purchases, expenses, invoices) into the accounting software. 
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process, verify, and reconcile invoices, billing statements, and check requests.
  • Reconciliation: Assist with bank reconciliations, expense reports, and identifying discrepancies in records.
  • Administrative Tasks: File documentation, manage electronic records, handle mail, and support senior accounting staff with projects
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial documents and transactions comply with company policies and regulations

Qualifications

Essential: 

  • Read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.
  • Excellent Microsoft skills, specifically Excel software, with a working knowledge of advanced functions (Pivot tables, Lookups, etc). 
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, data entry speed, and organizational skills.
  • Strict handling of sensitive employee data.
  • Interacting with staff and management regarding pay discrepancies
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Flexibility to work overtime or after hours when necessary. 
  • Must be able to retain information.
  • Must have legible handwriting.
  • Dependability: Follows instructions, responds to management direction.
  • Follow all established Procedures related to the duties you are assigned (SOP, SP, AWP or other)
  • Understanding of the effects of process deviation.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate degree in accounting or relevant coursework is often preferred. 
  • 0–2 years experience; often accepts entry-level candidates with strong math skills or relevant experience 

Work Environment

  • Noise: Primarily office work, minimal noise.
  • Safety hazards: None when following standard procedures and material safety data sheets.
  • Contaminants: None.
  • Protective gear: None.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, plus overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing: Typical for office work.
  • Lifting: Less than 10 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity: Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are necessary for typing and filing.
  • Repetitive motion: None.
