Position Summary:
The accounting & finance intern will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting to enable data-driven decisions that optimize margin, pricing, and go-to-market effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
This summer internship program will allow the analyst to be responsible for leading an analysis into channel expansion by SKU portfolio profitability, and customer profitability. They will have the opportunity to develop and optimize dashboards and reporting to drive actionable insights.
This internship will provide exposure to all three pillars of Milo’s FP&A TEAm and cross-functional partners including Growth, Operations, and Corporate business partners.
Analyze sku-level, customer, and channel profitability including gross-margin, contribution margin, and operating profit
Support scenario planning to inform budgeting and key business decisions
Create, maintain, and automate dashboards in excel and OneStream for leadership review
Participate in designated assigned projects, including but not limited to credit cards with AP, utilities with Cost Accounting, lease analysis with GL, property tax with Tax and other areas within department that arise and would be fitting.
Spend time within various departments in Accounting & Finance to learn about daily operations and responsibilities.
Create and present what they learned during the internship period to leadership.

The position has Food Safety Responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Majoring in a finance, accounting, or other analytical major with an interest in CPG
