The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for supporting the objectives of the accounting and finance organization at The Kinetic Group. This will be a unique opportunity for someone looking to gain experience within an industry accounting team. They will have an opportunity to add significant value to the accounting organization as they take on accounting roles and responsibilities and are empowered to recommend improvements and automations to streamline accounting processes
This based out of our Anoka office and will have a hybrid work schedule, with three days per week in office.
What you'll do:
Perform accounting analysis on various transactions and maintain a high level of accuracy in a timely manner.
Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Ad HOC special projects and analysis to support the overall business.
Provide Internal and External Audit Support.
Analyze data for audit requests.
Contribute to Month-end close Process
Determine need for journal entries & additional month-end close procedures
Prepare monthly account reconciliations to a high level of accuracy
Assist with accounting for capital projects and fixed assets including tracking actual spend to the budgeted amounts
Perform other duties as requested
Experience you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 0-3 years of experience.
Attention to detail and organization skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong knowledge of Generally Applied Accounting Principles. Familiarity with IFRS principles a plus.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Excellent analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products. Experience preferred in Microsoft AX or other ERP, Alteryx and OneStream
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Comfortable working with individuals throughout an organization including all levels of management.
Work Environment:
Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.
Pay Range:
$61,300.00 - $85,900.00The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
