What You Will Do:
- Assist department with some administrative tasks that may include scanning, filing, retrieving information from filing cabinets or online software.
- Assist construction accountants in preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports and draws.
- Research accounting issues under direction of Construction Associates and accounting team leadership.
- Code and enter project invoices into accounting software platform.
- Assist with monthly draw process for assigned projects.
- Review subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders and reconcile same during monthly draw process and close out.
- Attend meeting with project teams as needed.
- Any other tasks assigned or directed.
What You Will Need To Succeed:
- Ability to maneuver through different software systems, including use of industry-specific software and excel.
- Typing and data entry skills.
- Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting system software.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, and positively with other associates.
- Ability to multitask and change focus frequently.
- Consistent, regular, and in-person attendance at the workplace during regular working hours.
