About this role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Accounts Payable activities, including invoice review, GL coding, and 3‑way match verification (PO, receipt, invoice).

• Support month‑end close tasks such as reconciliations, reporting, and variance review.

• Help maintain accurate financial records, digital filing, and document retention.

• Collaborate with Order Entry, Supply Chain and Operations teams to resolve PO discrepancies or missing receipts.

• Participate in treasury and cash‑management support tasks as assigned.

• Assist with data cleanup and process‑improvement initiatives within ERP and document‑management systems.

• Prepare spreadsheets, summaries, and presentations for internal use.

• Contribute to special projects that enhance financial controls, efficiency, or reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Completion of introductory accounting coursework preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• Self‑motivated, organized, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Work Environment

• Onsite role at the Technifab facility in Brazil, Indiana.

• Typical schedule: 20–30 hours per week during academic terms; up to 40 hours during summer (flexible based on student needs).

• Standard office environment with regular interaction across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.

This hands-on learning opportunity allows interns to make a tangible impact on the Crane business, while developing a comprehensive understanding of how a quality department operates.
