Job Overview
The Accounting Intern offers a hands-on learning experience for students or recent graduates interested in developing financial management, accounting, and analytical skills. Interns will support day-to-day financial operations while gaining practical insight into corporate finance processes within a dynamic organizational environment.
This is a 6-month in-office internship under the mentorship of the Accounting team based out of Doral, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and data analysis.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking activities.
- Review and process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Conduct research and provide analytical support for special finance projects.
- Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned
Key Qualifications
- Currently in the final year of study or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a professional team environment.

Role’s Mentorship
- A finance intern usually works under the supervision of the business services division management and must follow the accounting or auditing process.
- To collect, understand, and verify reporting accounting /finance related information to the vertical head.
- Will be given professional system and assignment coaching
- Develop and utilize spreadsheets, databases, and other applications.
- Receive management support in specialized information reports and forms dealing with special projects or daily operational needs.
- Mentor other senior leaders and/or similar professionals.
Physical & Work Environment
This position is based in a professional office environment. The intern will work primarily at a desk using standard office equipment such as computers, monitors, and telephones. The role involves extended periods of sitting and working on a laptop or desktop computer, with exposure to typical office lighting and screen time. Occasional movement around the office and light lifting of files or office supplies (up to 10 lbs) may be required.
