ACCOUNTING INTERN (Full Time)

Accounting Intern

This intern role will support the Finance Team for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, its sister company, The Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern, and related entities under Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ management.  This individual will report to the Director of Finance and will assist in a multitude of accounting activities, including, but not limited to, the weekly and month end close processes while maintaining accounting principles, best practices, and systems for collecting, analyzing and reporting information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and record merchant processing transactions
• Gather bank statements and other related bank information
• Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
• Support weekly and month end close process
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The right candidate for this position will share our passion for delivering genuine hospitality along with these additional qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in accounting or a related field
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel (or willingness to learn)
• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, a plus

Time Commitment: Seeking a full-time (40 hours) summer commitment.
