About this role

SUMMARY OF JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day Payroll functions, including but not limited to:
    • Closing payroll each Monday (4pm submission deadline)
      • Reviews payroll punches and coding for completeness and adherence to policies
    • Manage/Handle routine employee questions/concerns as they relate to payroll
    • Create and distribute payroll reports as needed
    • Review and completion of payroll corrections from prior week errors
    • Completion of weekly payroll deductions, benefit accrual adjustments (vacation hours), vacation payouts and bridges, etc.
    • Attendance tracking, calculates and maintains point balances.
    • Other duties as assigned 
    • Resume is required 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven success working in team environment.
  • Strong verbal communication and time management skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with a PC, Windows and MS Excel, with ability to learn other computer applications.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated use of strong organization skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated excellent pattern of attendance reliability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two-years accounting experience
  • Experience with Kronos or ADP timekeeper systems
  • Prior experience in payroll
  • Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
