Position Summary:

This position is responsible auditing non-gaming paperwork, assisting in the preparation of cost of goods sold, tenant postings and participating in physical inventories.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

  • Performs daily audits of non-gaming sources documents and reconciles paperwork to system generated reports
  • Posts transactions into the LMS Accounts Receivable module and ACSC systems
  • Posts requisitions and cost transfers into the Stratton Warren system
  • Participates in inventories and compares physical counts to accounting records
  • Posts comp adjustments and reconciles point of sale reports to the comp system

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to internal operating procedures and controls
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly journal entries
  • Compiles check and wire requests for tenant payments
  • Tracks the receipt of tenant monthly reports and payments

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in a computerized accounting environment

CompetenciesIncumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of accounting terms and practices
  • Ability to comprehend lease agreements
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of internal operating procedures and controls

Training Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ACSC, Infinium, LMS, RPOS and Cognos software
  • Basic understanding of Standards of Operations and Management
  • Proficient in the operation of electronic scanning devices

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Office work environment
  • Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with frequent bending, climbing and lifting during physical inventories
  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
