FINANCE SPECIALIST - ACCOUNTING

Job Description: 

Finance Specialist - Accounting positions offered by ABB Installation Products Inc. (An ABB Company) (Albuquerque, New Mexico). Identify issues and suggest improvements for finance and accounting teams. Perform account analyses, reconciliations, journal entries, inventory checks, and balance sheet reviews. Assist with preparing financial reports, business plans, budgets, forecasts, and presentations. Ensure financial compliance reporting with monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews. Monitor and report on capital expenditures and fixed assets. Ensure proper audit trails and documentation for audits and communicate and present key information to stakeholders to support corrective actions. Assist with approving productivity by developing automated solutions, reducing duplication, and coordinating information. Ensure timely invoice processing and accurate reporting of payments. Establish processes and tools to ensure reliable financial data and business information.

Minimum Requirements: 

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field and 1 year of experience working in an accounting or financial analyst role. Also requires 1 year of experience in each of the following: using computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including Oracle, SAP, ERP or related financial systems; using MS excel, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF and advanced formulas, using pivot tables for data summarization and analysis, creating charts and graphs to visualize data effectively, and using conditional formatting and data validation techniques to maintain data integrity and improve report clarity; and analyzing reports and communicating performance trends to stakeholders to inform decision-making. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
