About this role

Job Summary

Responsibilities of this position include the monthly invoice process for Utility and Landlord escrow rent adjustments, light administration tasks such as filing, scanning and mail distribution. In addition, this position supports the provision of data to both Internal Audit and External Audit.

This role currently has a hybrid schedule based out of our Westbury, NY office.

An employee in this position can expect an annual starting rate at $23 an hour depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law.

What You Do

• Prepare monthly utility invoices for payment.
• Review and process landlord statements for escrow changes.
• Review and prepare all Occupancy vendor additions and changes.
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Assist in gathering supporting documents of all external/internal/financial audits.
• Perform day-to-day administrative responsibilities. (Filing, scanning lease modifications and open, sort, and distribute mail.)
• Assist with any ad-hoc projects.

Knowledge & Experience

• 1-2 years administrative or accounting experience, an accounting degree or a degree in a related field a plus
• Proficient Excel Skills
• Extremely detailed oriented, self-motivated, independent proactive worker
