Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support accounting operations and inbound logistics financial processes. This role will have a strong focus on financial analysis, delivering actionable insights that support decision-making and enhance operational performance. The ideal candidate will leverage system software and analytical tools to strengthen controls, improve efficiencies, and develop meaningful KPIs. This position will also play a key role in reducing manual processes through automation and driving continuous improvement across accounting and inbound logistics functions.
Position Responsibilities:
Analyze inbound logistics reports and systems to validate the integrity of data interfaces and reinforce key financial controls, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and within established timelines, while identifying exceptions and partnering with stakeholders to drive timely resolution
Analyze inbound logistics data to develop KPI reporting and deliver financial analysis focused on cost performance, variances, and overall financial outcomes in partnership with inbound logistics teams
Prepare and provide supporting documentation for journal entries related to inbound logistics activities to the Financial Reporting team
Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting tools and analytics that support effective monitoring of operational accounting functions
Track, analyze, and report on income and expenses associated with special programs and initiatives
Evaluate existing processes to identify inefficiencies or control gaps; recommend and implement solutions that streamline workflows, reduce redundancy, and improve productivity through automation
Support accounting systems through testing, troubleshooting, and participation in organizational projects and system enhancements
Assist team members in resolving balancing discrepancies and other accounting issues as needed
Partner with team leads to create, update, and maintain training materials for accounting processes and systems
Provide day-to-day support to accounting leadership and contribute to special projects and ad hoc assignments
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degrees in Business, Accounting, or related field
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to communicate effectively across teams and levels of the organization
Ability to research and analyze processes.
Advanced skills with Excel/Access
Experience with PeopleSoft, e2open, Balances, and ServiceNow preferred
Experience with data warehouses and large subsets of data
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to relocate regionally may be necessary for advancement at our Division offices
