<strong>Position:<br></strong><br>
</div><div>Accounting Assistant/Human Resource Assistant<br><br>
</div><div>This dual-role position provides essential administrative and operational support to both the finance and human resources departments. The ideal candidate manages sensitive financial data and confidential employee information with strict discretion.<br><br>
</div><div>
<strong>Key duties and responsibilities:<br></strong><br>
</div><div>Assists in the operation of the Mettler US accounting department<br><br>
</div><div>Process accounts payable and receivable, handle payments and deposits, and perform account reconciliations<br><br>
</div><div>General Ledger: Posting journal entries and reconciling accounts<br><br>
</div><div>Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and financial regulations. Help develop internal controls<br><br>
</div><div>Auditing: Support/Assist the Accounting Manager with internal and external audits<br><br>
</div><div>Financial Reporting as necessary<br><br>
</div><div>Provides backup for the Accounting Manager and the HR Manager (payroll processing and benefits administration) during absences<br><br>
</div><div>Willing to answer phones when needed, assist visitors and employees on occasion, and perform other clerical duties as requested<br><br>
</div><div>
<strong>Your profile:<br></strong><br>
</div><div>· Associate degree required/bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting/Business<br><br>
</div><div>· Experience in Administrative, Accounting, or HR support roles<br><br>
</div><div>· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills<br><br>
</div><div>· Ability to multitask efficiently<br><br>
</div><div>· Excellent oral and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders<br><br>
</div><div>Advanced computer skills, including MS-Office, and the ability to learn about the company's ERP system<br><br>
</div><div>
