About the Department
This position will be located on the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus
Position Duties
At least three (3) years of recent experience in small engine repair, outdoor power equipment service, or a related mechanical field.
Minimum Qualifications
Previous teaching, training, mentoring, or workforce development experience. Industry certifications related to small engine repair or outdoor power equipment. ASE, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, STIHL, ECHO, or other manufacturer certifications.
Other Qualifications
Adjunct faculty are compensated in accordance with Midlands Technical College’s established pay schedule. The standard adjunct pay rate is $40 per hour. Final compensation may vary depending on academic credentials and total course credit hours. Any variation is determined upon hire and outlined in the faculty employment agreement.
