The Lawrence County Housing Authority is searching for a motivated Administrative Assistant 1 who enjoys supporting a busy office and helping daily operations run smoothly. Position Duties
This role is focused on supporting daily office operations and assisting the Executive Director with essential administrative tasks. As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Document Preparation: Prepare and produce organized written materials for meetings and internal needs
- Meeting Support: Attend monthly board meetings and take clear and accurate minutes
- Record Maintenance: Maintain advertising, grant, and insurance documentation in an orderly manner
- Mail Handling: Pick up, sort, distribute, and send mail for the office
- Office Supplies: Obtain quotes and order needed stationery and forms
- Staff Assistance: Assist with accounts payable, payroll, and communication between staff and outside partners
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
