About this role
Seeking an experienced professional to serve as an Administrative Assistant and Receptionist within the Front Office and Human Resources Department. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while fostering a respectful and professional work environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills, along with a high level of attention to detail. A strong aptitude for technology and the ability to quickly learn and navigate systems are essential.
This position provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department and reports directly to the Assistant Director of Human Resources.
Starting Salary: $17.00 - $19.00/hour

- Perform job duties in a way that is respectful and considerate of the needs of all Racker staff.
- Answer and transfer incoming phone calls, screening when necessary.
- Welcome and direct visitors, employees, and service recipients.
- Provide clerical support for the HR department, including but not limited to making reference calls for potential candidates, employment verifications, filing, special projects, data entry of employee records in the Human Resources Information Systems.
- Complete employee background clearances
- Assist hiring managers in updating or writing job descriptions as needed.
- Track ISDPs and Core Competencies are being completed within each program
- Assist with orientation of new staff.
- Process and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Order and distribute office supplies.
Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Experience in administrative support, Familiarity and proficiency with the Microsoft Office package, Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems
