About this role
About the Department
Assists with requests from members of the public, either in person or by phone; assist with all incoming calls and correspondence and/or forwards to proper person or office. Acts as timekeeper entering information into online system, maintains leave records and personnel files for unit. Processes personnel transactions including new hires; compiles and maintains personnel records; tracks and schedules training. Prepares requisitions, purchase orders, receipts and maintains files and records. Maintains inventory of office supplies and forms; reviews requisitions and bills to ensure compliance with budget limitations. Works during inclement weather to answer telephone calls and assist with completing reports. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Position Duties
A high school diploma; or an approved acceptable equivalence.
The physical demands for the essential functions includes sitting or standing at a desk for an extended period and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside of normal business hours.
