Schedule:

Monday 1:30 - 4 pm

Tuesday 2:45 - 4 pm

Wed - Fri 2:45 - 5 pm

Start times align to bus pickup (1:30 on Mondays, 3 pm Tue-Fri). End times are somewhat flexible, and we will consider candidates who can fill at least 2 days per week. If you are willing to perform light housework, we can offer additional paid work time prior to bus pickup.

 

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $18.00 to $22.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Looking for one or two college students who can provide after school care for our 2nd grader for 10-12 hours per week. Responsibilities involve picking up child from bus stop (<1 block from home), preparing snacks, and providing enriching and fun activities after school. We live close to Vilas Park, so lots of opportunities for outdoor activities. We will consider candidates who can partially fill this schedule (at least 2 days per week).

One parent works from home full-time, and one parents works from home 2-3 days a week. Household includes one cat, so familiarity and comfort level with pets is preferred. We prefer someone who can commit to the fall semester and hopefully stay through the spring semester if their schedule allows. 

 

Qualifications:

Babysitting or other child care experience

High School Diploma

CPR certified preferred but not required
