Aggregate Scale Person Full-Time

Knife River has an immediate opening for an Aggregate Scale Person based at our Tumalo office location.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

· Operate truck scales through computer terminal

· Answer telephones and assist customers both in person and remotely

· Collect and reconcile daily cash sales (credit card processing, etc.)

· Process end of day paperwork and transmit to office

· Assist dispatch as needed

· Drive to different jobsites within the day to provide lunch coverage and as needed

· Assist with front desk coverage and other duties as assigned

· Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed

· Other duties assigned as needed

Typical Hours 6:45-3:30 M-F

 

Minimum Qualifications:

· Aptitude for dealing with customers, sales and problem solving

· Ability to operate a computer terminal and manage multiple tasks at the same time

· Legible handwriting, good organizational and communication skills, general math and writing skills

· Must be people oriented, able to provide exceptional customer service, empathetic and flexible

· Previous scale experience is a plus

· Knowledge of market area and previous construction experience is helpful

· Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

· Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test
