About the Department
The Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging is seeking a motivated Aging Case Aide 2 who wants to play an important role in helping older adults access vital services. This position offers daily variety, professional growth, and meaningful interaction with the community. Position Duties
This position supports a wide range of services for older adults, including information assistance, case support, training activities, and program coordination. As a Aging Case Aide 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Call Assistance: Handle information and referral calls and direct consumers to the proper staff
- Record Management: Maintain consumer files, oversee expungements, and track weekly obituary information for case updates
- Case Support: Assist care managers by completing scheduled telephone calls for ongoing case management
- Program Coordination: Support PA Medi activities including trainings, volunteer recruitment, outreach tasks, and report submission
- Appeal Assistance: Help consumers with filing insurance appeals and completing required forms and packets
- DOM Care Oversight: Conduct visits, monitor providers, and support moves for individuals in the Domiciliary Care program
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- It is essential that applicants for this role do not possess an active insurance license.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Aging Case Aide 1; or
- Two years of public contact work, including one year in a human services program; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
