About this role

As the AI Data Cataloging Intern, you will help design and develop an Al-driven proof of concept (POC) leveraging Snowflake Cortex to demonstrate how generative Al and large language models can enhance data workflows within the music analytics ecosystem. This may include building intelligent query assistants, metadata enrichment tools, or automated insights for music datasets. The project will expose the intern to real-world music industry challenges and modern cloud-based Al capabilities. The intern will also support the creation and enhancement of a centralized Music data catalog. This includes documenting tables, schemas, data sources, lineage and key music metadata attributes. The project aims to improve data discoverability, consistency, and governance across the music analytics organization.

Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our Fall Internship Program will run from Tuesday, June 2nd – Friday, August 14th and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Develop an Al proof-of-concept using Snowflake Cortex to explore new data and automation capabilities.
  • Support the team's Data Governance efforts by contributing to data cataloging and documentation initiatives.
  • Assist with organizing and documenting music-related data used across the business.
  • Contribute to documentation and data organization efforts that help teams better understand and use music data.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Nice to have Snowflake Data Cloud, Snowflake Cortex (LLM functions, vector search, Al services), SQL, Python
  • This internship is a part-time paid internshipand requires someone located in/near Nashville, TN
  • The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, June 2nd – Friday, August 14th you must be able to work 20 hours/week.
  • The hourly rate for this position is $17.87
