Job Responsibilities:

The AI Software Developer Intern will serve as an integral member of the Corporate IT Software Development team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Assist in designing, building and testing AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Agent Studio and Visual Studio Code
  • Work with data stored in SQL Server, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Fabric
  • Support automation and integration with Power Platform tools (Power Apps and Power Automate)
  • Follow security, data governance, and responsible AI best practices
  • Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards and procedures and demonstrate active and regular involvement in EHSQ programs
Job Qualifications:
  • Current junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Strong curiosity about AI, automation, and Large Language Models
  • Experience with Prompt Engineering, AI agent design and chatbots
  • Proficient in programming / scripting (Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of databases and SQL
  • Ability of learn quickly and work independently with guidance
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
