Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to: Global Product Manager – Guiding A key requirement for this role is
a strong technical understanding of guides and sensors matched with a solid
understanding of business profit and loss, costing, pricing, and commercial
principles. This role supports the Global Product Manager for developing and
leading a global product strategy. Beginning with Voice of Customer, Global Product Management plans,
organizes, and controls the implementation of guiding solutions in the converting
and related markets, through conceptual stages and product life cycles in order
to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth
objectives. Responsibility includes supporting the regions of Americas, EMEA
and APAC; with some focus on a specific region. This role is designed to
develop into a Global Product Manager position over time. This position is
based in Oklahoma City, OK and relocation is required, if necessary.

Primary Responsibility:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports
the direction of the overall global guiding technology strategy, research and development
requirements, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products.
Supports
product lifecycle from cradle to upgrade.
Supports
new products throughout the NPD stage gate process.
Provides
technical expertise and training to other departments and sales teams.
Defines
customer/market/product parameters with an emphasis on digital technology,
Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, etc. with clear focus on unmet customer needs
and generating clear customer value and monetizing that value.
Collaborates
with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing,
manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product technology
solutions for customer needs and market opportunities.
Coordinates
with the Marketing Digital Technology manager on how to leverage product and
communication for advertising, trade shows and marketing collateral.
Conducts
market research and identifies and tracks guiding market trends in company’s
primary markets.
Produces
competitive analysis materials comparing solutions with its key competitors.
Supports
global pricing strategy & policies around customer value, generates sales
aids, tools and supports the sales activity by conducting technical
presentations.
Supports
Product Line P&L including pricing, discounts, and gross margins.
Travels extensively (30%+), including all Maxcess International
locations, to develop product strategies, support product launches and provide
product support.
Candidate Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree from a
recognized college or university with a marketing, business, or engineering
major.
Minimum of 2-5 years related
experience and/or training. Experience should be broad-based and demonstrate
results oriented, collaborative, team oriented and highly responsive
performance.
Provide leadership in a complex
and rapidly changing environment.
Experience in Industry 4.0 and
Internet of Things preferred.
Experience with control loop
systems in industrial applications preferred.
Significant experience with Lean
and/or Six Sigma is a plus.
ERP system knowledge and
experience is required – EPICOR or ProAlpha preferred.
Experience with Salesforce.com preferred.

Work Environment

mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical
shock.
The
noise level in the office environment is usually quiet. The noise level at
customer facilities typically requires hearing protection and relevant PPE.
Extensive travel is required; both domestic and international,
where local work environments may include temperature and weather extremes.
