About this role

Job Description

Responsible for a fleet consisting of a variety of commercial vehicles including semi-tractors, trailers, and box trucks, prepare and process registrations, permits, titles, HUT, IFTA, and all other regulatory mandates to maintain fleet compliance. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to audit support, account reconciliations, tax research, process improvements, and special projects as assigned. Interacts with personnel within the organization on a regular basis. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned.

Compliance with governmental reporting, i.e. IFTA, maintaining plates, permits, EZ PASS, IPASS and violation resolutions.

Compiling monthly/quarterly distance and fuel reporting in compliance with IRP/IFTA requirements.

Utilize Telematics to research mileage/fuel discrepancies.

Maintain and manage Truck/Trailer inventory.

Work closely with OpCo Fleet and Trans managers to ensure accuracy asset inventory, mileage and fuel data.

Admin of fuel card program. Utilize Telematics to allocate truck mileage and fuel.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

3 - 5 Years

Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Exp. with and working knowledge of FMCSA/DOT and State regulations pertaining to registrations and taxes. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Exp. with and working knowledge of Telematic systems and applications. Skill in using MS Office.
