About this role
The AI Analyst delivers risk-based audits in line with the approved plan and elevates assurance through the application of analytics, automation, and AI. A key component of the role is shaping and advancing GIA’s AI roadmap by orchestrating the design, delivery, and scaling of innovative, responsible AI solutions that materially enhance the efficiency, consistency, and strategic impact of audit operations. The role helps assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls—particularly for AI enabled processes and data governance—while championing the use of ServiceNow and SharePoint for standardized documentation and workflow.

Your day to day
Lead the end-to-end design, development, project management, and implementation of AIdriven solutions that measurably enhance the efficiency, consistency, and strategic impact of team operations.toend design, development, project management, and implementation of AIdriven solutions that measurably enhance the efficiency, consistency, and strategic impact of team operations.
Accurately identify key business objectives and related risks prior to the assessment of associated control mechanisms including consideration of the adequacy of governance.
Demonstrate a value-added approach to assurance by providing practical, appropriate and cost-effective recommendations which assist senior management in achieving primary business objectives.
Deliver risk-based audits using technology-enabled testing and analytics-driven insights aligned to the annual GIA plan.
Assess design and operating effectiveness across strategic, operational, financial and technology risks with emphasis on AI, automation and data governance.
Embed analytics and automation across the audit lifecycle (scoping, fieldwork, reporting) and maintain reusable scripts and dashboards.
Champion ServiceNow and SharePoint for workpapers, workflow and issue management; partner with platform owners on enhancements.
Partner with SMPs/co-source, IT/InfoSec and business SMEs to validate findings, agree pragmatic actions and uplift audit quality.
Support capability uplift via targeted enablement (e.g., Brunch & Learns, office hours) and contribute to methodology improvements.
What we need from you
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Science, or related field.
1–2 years of experience through internships, academic projects, or early career roles applying analytics, automation, or AI concepts. Exposure to data tools (e.g., Python, Power BI), process analysis, or risk/controls is beneficial but not required. Demonstrated interest in AI, data governance, or technology enabled problem solving strongly preferred.
Experience with data analytics, automation, or AI tools in an audit/risk context; internal audit or technology assurance experience preferred.
Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Python, Power BI/Tableau) and AI/automation platforms (e.g., Copilot, ServiceNow).
Understanding of internal audit principles, risk management and tech-enabled assurance; knowledge of AI and data governance/ethics.
Strong communication, stakeholder and project management skills; operate independently and as part of a global team; commitment to continuous learning.
Location – Atlanta, GA; Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $74,000.00 to $78,000.00. This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
