About this role
I. Job Summary
Under general supervision, acts as a liaison between Technology and the business of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Conducts intermediate level business process analysis, needs assessments and preliminary cost / benefit analysis in an effort to align Technology solutions with business initiatives.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Acts as a liaison between technical staff and business owners.
- Coordinates with users to determine and document business and user requirements, process flow definitions, and functional specifications.
- Documents requirements and reviews test plans with QA and other partner groups prior to requesting business user testing.
- Responsible for document repositories, maintenance and updates of project documentation library.
- Assists project team with gaining business user acceptance.
- Reviews progress and evaluates results for accuracy and efficiency.
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.
- 3 years of prior work experience as an IT Business Analyst (in addition to education requirement).
B. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with enterprise reporting and analytics platforms, including Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Understanding of semantic models, business-friendly data definitions, and enterprise data governance practices.
- Ability to bridge business strategy, operational processes, and analytical solutions to drive data-informed decision making.
- Experience partnering with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data and reporting solutions.

Pay: The expected base pay range for this office position is $84,700 - $124,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
In addition, this position is eligible for bonus.
