The Analytics Engineer serves as a trusted analytics partner to Nursing and Case Management leadership, supporting operational, quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives through the development of reporting, analytics, and decision support solutions. This role requires strong business partnership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive operational excellence and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Nursing and Case Management leaders to understand business needs, prioritize initiatives, and develop data-driven solutions that support strategic and operational objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by proactively communicating project progress, risks, dependencies, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Design, develop, validate, document, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions that deliver accurate, timely, and actionable information.
- Own recurring reporting processes, ensuring data integrity, consistency, thorough documentation, and reliable delivery of performance metrics and scorecards.
- Translate complex data and analytical findings into clear, meaningful insights for audiences ranging from frontline operational teams to senior executive leadership.
- Support quality improvement, operational excellence, and performance improvement initiatives through project participation, analytical consultation, and data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for improved data collection, reporting efficiency, and operational performance.

Required Qualifications at this Level
Education/Training
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or four years of equivalent technical experience required.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
None required. Preferred certification in development technologies, as appropriate for the position.
Experience
Level 1 - No experience required beyond the minimum education (or equivalency) requirement.
Level 2 - Two years of directly related experience is required.
Level 3 - Four years of directly related experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a healthcare environment with an understanding of clinical, nursing, case management, quality, and patient safety operations.
- Experience with Epic Clarity and/or Caboodle data models.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Strong SQL development, data modeling, and analytical problem-solving skills.
Work Location Requirement:
- This is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of two days per week onsite to support collaboration with Nursing and Case Management leadership.
