SUMMARY 


Responsible for providing day-to-day administration, configuration and support of current enterprise applications, including financial applications, databases and integrations. Responsible for managing and maintaining system reliability, integrity, and compliance within the organization standards.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administers, maintains, and supports the company's enterprise applications, ensuring smooth operation and data integrity.

Performs routine system checks, updates, and backups to maintain system integrity and performance.

Installs, configures, upgrades, and maintains enterprise applications.

Assists senior members in applying systems upgrades, patches, maintenance and enhancements.

Manages user access, security, and permissions within the enterprise applications.

Monitors system performance, analyze trends, system load, and identifies areas for improvement.

Supports and assists with system testing following patching and upgrades, including business continuity testing.

Logs, tracks and documents support escalations and resolutions within Service Now.

Provides training and support on system functionality to the end users and internal support team as part of releases.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of the business applications systems and process from an IT perspective.

Builds a relationship with the third-party vendors to resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.

Assesses risks or changes affecting the systems, identify and communicate appropriate actions to manage change.

Ensures that security and integrity of the financial data and systems meet the appropriate controls and follow the proper procedures to mitigate risks.

Assists with data migration and testing.

Understands and assists in data management and accuracy.

Supports audit requirements and implementations of the requirements.

Assists with audit reviews and implementation of recommendations.

Participates in on-call rotations for after-hours support as well as handles occasional night/weekend work outages or upgrades.


QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or associates degree and relevant certifications and experience.

Three (3) or more years related work experience with IT support, system administrator or application specific administration.

Proficiency in different applications like financial systems, cloud platforms, monitoring and scripting

Two (2) or more years Insurance industry or Financial Industry experience

Oracle Fusion

Good verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills

Ability to work within a fast paced team and to foster teamwork

Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex and critical issues

Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to rapidly changing priorities

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and troubleshooting skills
