Pay Rate: $37.53 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and provide information or assistance to support orderly building operations.
  • Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow all applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures for armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
