About the Creative Team

The Mark & Graham Creative team brings our brand story to life across every customer touchpoint, including site, catalog, email, social, digital marketing, and beyond. As part of the Photo team, you’ll help translate each season’s big ideas into compelling, on-brand photography that inspires our customer, creates desire for our products, and reinforces Mark & Graham as a destination for thoughtful gifting and personalization.

We’re a collaborative, ideas-driven team that believes great creative work happens when people feel supported, inspired, and empowered to bring their point of view to the table. We value curiosity, craftsmanship, and a strong sense of partnership—both within the Creative team and across the broader brand. If you’re excited by storytelling, style, gifting, and the details that make language feel personal, we’d love to meet you. This role reports into the Director of Creative Services (Creative Director) and is based in San Francisco at our Van Ness office and photo studio.

About The Role

  • Provide on-set art direction, guiding photographers, stylists, merchandise coordinators, and other creative partners to ensure strong execution of the approved vision.
  • Partner with Creative Director in scaling video on set
  • Oversee post-production in partnership with creative and photo teams, including image selects, retouching markups, crop direction, and final asset delivery.
  • Attend merchandise reviews, pre-production meetings, and seasonal planning sessions to ensure photo direction reflects product, brand, and marketing priorities.
  • Partner with the photo team on the formal adoption and integration of Outward and other AI-enabled tools to expand photography capabilities and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain ownership of assets produced both on-set and digitally, contributing to end-to-end planning, execution, review, and delivery.
  • Partner with the Senior Photo Manager and Creative Director to define shoot scope, maximize asset output, and identify budget efficiencies across photo production.
