Magee Womens Research Institute (MWRI) is the largest research institute in the US dedicated to women's health and reproductive biology. Prior experience working in a research environment is preferred.
Manages the administrative aspects of the department, including budget and financials, and oversees all clinical research activities and trials. Assists with operational and strategic planning. Crafts clinical research grant proposals and subsequently oversees administrative and financial functions of sponsored projects.

Manages administrative activities of department to include new hire paperwork, which may include Visa processing; scheduling meetings and travel; faculty recruitment; forums and seminars; all research grant proposals; and preparing and responding to reporting requests.
Prepares and allocates annual budget, financial statements, cost studies, analysis of salary projections, financial management, and determination of expenses.
Oversees the conduct of all clinical research activity and industry research trials and ensures compliance with all applicable regulations.
Produces internal policies in conjunction with agency expenditure guidelines while adhering to University protocols and procedures. Assists in operational and strategic planning.
Supports the Program Administrator with providing input on clinical trials such as protocol development, site initiations and monitoring, regulatory adherence, project management, data analysis, and manuscript preparations.
Prepares and crafts grant proposals. Uses the University systems for grant management, sets up awarded projects, and manages oversight of financial and administrative aspects of sponsored projects.
Supervises staff and students as related or directed.
