About Our Agency:
South Carolina ETV (SCETV) is the state's public educational broadcasting network. Using television, radio and the web, SCETV's mission is to enrich lives by educating children, informing and connecting citizens, celebrating our culture and environment and instilling the joy of learning. SCETV provides national and local content to classrooms via internet services Knowitall.org and PBS Learning Media. SCETV also provides teacher training and re-certification in face-to-face and online settings.
 
Job Purpose:
This position plays a critical role in the distribution of national content for South Carolina ETV and Public Radio.

Job Duties:
The Assistant Director of National Content works collaboratively with the Director of National Content and other stakeholders on the creation and distribution of SCETV and independent original national programs and series. 
The individual assumes appropriate leadership in management of all deliverable assets including promotional materials, documentation such as visual/music cue sheets, transcripts, promotional assets, and final delivery of completed program files. 
As a producer, performs required duties that support creation of SCETV's PBS+ series After Action. 
This individual acts independently in the absence of the Director of National Content.



Position Duties

A high school diploma and experience or additional education in production of radio or television programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of project management resources such as Monday.com and use those platforms to disseminate information.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and through the written word.
Candidate should have some experience creating content with Adobe products to include Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition and/or Premiere.
