We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the Assistant Planning Manager (Natural Resources Administrator 2) within the Division of Engineering headquartered at Fountain Square main campus in Franklin County. What you will do...

• Assists Planning and Program Manager and Project Manager with assigned tasks throughout all phases of planning and project development (e.g. planning projects, master planning, strategic planning, database use and management, assessments, field work/study and observations, managing consultants and working with/for client divisions, asset and fiscal tracking, controlling board requests.)
• Assists and provides support to planning managers and engineers with all aspects of projects related to scopes, schedules, budgets, procurement of services, consultant coordination, and technical project issue resolution.
• Prepares reports, correspondence, agreements, records, and other administrative project materials.
• Serves as liaison with internal divisions and external local, state, and federal partners; attends stakeholder meetings; identifies and verifies owner’s or client division’s needs/wants.
• Applies knowledge of budgeting, OSHA safety, and natural resources specialty to develop and implement ODNR/Engineering policies and procedures.
• The Natural Resources specialty for this position is architecture, landscape architecture, construction management, engineering, environmental science or agricultural science).
• Requires statewide travel and may be expected to work some evenings and weekends.
  Starting hourly pay of $36.75/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $52.27/hr.
