Are you highly organized, people‑focused, and energized by fast‑paced work? We’re looking for an Assistant Recruiter to provide temporary support across our hospital recruitment teams.

 

In this role, you'll support the hiring process by managing administrative tasks, scheduling interviews, and screening candidates. Key responsibilities include posting job ads, reviewing resumes, maintaining Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), conducting initial phone screens, and guiding candidates through the hiring process. You’ll jump in where the need is greatest—supporting high‑priority markets and helping deliver a standout candidate experience.

Responsibilities

 

The Assistant Recruiter supports the IP Rehab/CIRH Talent Acquisition teams and plays a key role in identifying and connecting with top talent across the organization. In this role, you will:

  • Partner with the recruiting team to assist with sourcing, candidate follow‑up, recruitment marketing, and ATS (iCIMS) maintenance.
  • Assist recruiters in scheduling interviews, coordinating interview days, and communicating with candidates.
  • Identify and source qualified candidates for assigned openings.
  • Utilize job boards, social media networks, and other digital tools to attract talent.
  • Create and update recruitment resources, directories, and checklists quarterly.
  • Participate in career fairs and hiring events; travel may be required.
  • Provide coverage for high‑priority markets and support teams when recruiters are out of office.
  • Ensure a positive, professional, and efficient candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist with additional recruitment projects and duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for interacting with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Organization: Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks and schedules.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) and ATS software.
  • Experience: Previous experience in HR, administrative support, or recruiting is often preferred, with a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive and personal candidate information with discretion.
