Cosentino's Food Stores is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Store Manager to join our team. Responsibilities:

Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Supervise and train store associates, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. This includes training and development of staff.

Oversee and manage ** retail sales** performance, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.

Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked, adhering to company standards for ** cleanliness** and merchandising.

Implement and monitor promotional effectiveness, ensuring successful execution of marketing campaigns.

Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer issues and building strong customer relationships.

Effectively manage inventory and minimize loss, utilizing product knowledge to make informed decisions.

Demonstrate strong leadership skills, motivating and inspiring the team to achieve store goals.

Effectively handle problem solving and conflict resolution within the store environment.

Utilize planning skills to schedule staff and manage store operations efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience in a retail management role, demonstrating a thorough understanding of retail operations.

Strong management skills, including the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Demonstrated ability to drive sales and achieve financial targets.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a retail setting.

Possess an energetic and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
