About this role
POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Account Manager, Facilities Management is responsible for driving service sales growth within assigned FM accounts with multi-site operations across the U.S. Owns a defined book of business with revenue targets, actively identifying and closing opportunities to expand Vertiv's portfolio of critical infrastructure services. Serves as the primary commercial relationship owner for FM partners, developing account strategies, negotiating agreements, and ensuring consistent execution across accounts. Partners with local sales teams and internal stakeholders to align resources and accelerate deal progression.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and manage a defined portfolio of FM accounts with assigned sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve or exceed annual sales quotas.
- Lead commercial discussions with FM partners, identifying unmet needs and positioning Vertiv solutions to close new business.
- Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and renewals, to maximize revenue and margin.
- Manage pipeline and forecast accuracy, maintaining visibility into deal progression and expected revenue.
- Manage the transfer of service agreements when facility management responsibility shifts between FM partners, ensuring continuity of Vertiv services at end-user sites.
- Facilitate and drive issue resolution across internal stakeholders to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Drive consistency and visibility across accounts through standardized practices, documentation, and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience
- Account management or outside sales experience preferred
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
- Account management experience
TRAVEL TIME REQUIRED
- 25-50% Travel Required
