Job Description:

The Role

The TA Treasury Operations Associate Analyst acts as a subject matter expert within the money movement team and collaborates closely with team leaders and managers to ensure all daily activities are completed accurately and on time. You will be responsible for monitoring key banking processes, escalating operational issues as needed, and maintaining strong communication with both internal stakeholders and external banking partners.

This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to problem-solve, and a commitment to maintaining operational excellence within a high‑volume, time‑sensitive environment.

  • Enter high‑dollar transfer agent shareholder and expense‑payment wire transfers
  • Report on cash requirements for shareholder check‑writing activity
  • Process stop‑payment requests on checks
  • Review intraday and prior‑day bank account balances; research and escalate exceptions as appropriate
  • Review, analyze, and process banking service charges for transfer agent bank accounts, resolving discrepancies and communicating exceptions to internal business partners
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external business partners
  • Develop, review, and maintain policies and procedures for the TA Treasury Operations team
  • Provide guidance to junior staff and provide support in resolving more complex issues
  • Partners with managers and team leads to identify and implement process improvements

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to identify, assess, and escalate high‑risk items appropriately
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • This position will be filled at the Associate (grade 2) or Associate Analyst (grade 3)  level based on experience and business needs.

The Team

TA Treasury Operations is part of Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO), which delivers pricing, accounting, and related operational services for the Fidelity mutual funds. The team is responsible for processing both shareholder and expense payments while ensuring that bank balances remain within prescribed thresholds.

Investment Operations

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
